Send faxes containing sensitive information (ConcordFax)

For circumstances where documents can only be sent via fax, UCSF offers a secure way to do this that is HIPAA-compliant: Concord Fax. Everyone who had the RightFax FaxUtil installed on their computer as of December 2024 has already received a copy of the Concord Fax Print2Fax software (check your Start Menu for Print2Fax!)

Services

Concord Fax is a digital solution for sending information via inbound and outbound electronic faxing. This application can be used to send information electronically in a manner that is secure, since Concord Fax is HIPAA-compliant.

There are costs associated with inbound fax lines hosted by Concord Fax. However, right now, IT is assuming the costs based on low to normal usage (volume of pages). Higher volume users may be subject to a recharge.
